Correct. My assumption is that most people will need to break out the SPE into multiple Ethernet connections to connect peripherals. It would be nice if you could plug a GIGASTAX right on board to give you ports without having to run wires to a separate switch.

I intepret this to mean that a GigaStax module can be plugged into the SPE Switch board. This would require adding more connectors to the SPE Switch Board however.
